In a forest in Gorajec, the Lasting Memory Foundation set up a Memorial Stone next to the grave of 12 Jews murdered by the Germans in May 1942. The ceremony honoring the victims was attended by a group of 100 students from Israel, the youth from a Junior High School in Gorajec, local authorities and residents.

The ceremony of unveiling a memorial plaque set up by the Lasting Memory Foundation took place in Cichobórz, next to the grave of approximately 30 Jews murdered by the Germans at the Death March in December 1939. Students of five local schools, invited guests and Cichobórz residents paid tribute to the dead.

An unveiling ceremony took place in a forest in Łosiewice, over the grave of approximately 70 Jews murdered by German soldiers in 1943. Next to the memorial erected by the Lasting Memory Foundation, at the place of the victims’ execution and burial, gathered local residents and invited guests to pay honors to the dead.

With the support of the locals, we marked the place of execution and burial of three young people of Jewish origin – a man and two women. They were captured by the Germans in 1942 while hiding and executed afterwards. An eyewitness to the events testified that the victims had probably come from Bychawa.
