Olszanka – February 21, 2019 |
At the public school in Olszanka, Zbigniew Niziński held a history class concerning the Foundation’s actions for locating still unmarked graves of people murdered during World War II. During the meeting attended by the school’s principal and the mayor of the commune, the participants were told about the need to remember the Victims of the war as well as respecting and empathizing with another person. The students were familiarized with the figures of Jewish children saved during the Holocaust as well as the stories of those children being rescued by local residents.
