In the town of Osieck, The Lasting Memory Foundation commemorated the place of execution and burial of 28 Jews murdered in 1943. The ceremony of unveiling the memorial plaque was attended by local residents, students of a local school, authorities and invited guests who all paid honors to the dead.

On the Holocaust Remembrance Day, in a penitentiary in Zamość, Zbigniew Niziński delivered a lecture and presentation on the activities performed by the Lasting Memory Foundation for commemorating the people and places from the times of the Holocaust. He presented discovered and later commemorated mass graves of murdered Jews and the stories of Holocaust survivors as well as the actions they take fighting for the Victims to be remembered and the world to be free of hatred.

In Mokry Jegiel Nature Reserve, the Lasting Memory Foundation commemorated the burial place of 50 Jews, including 15 children, murdered by the Germans on 8 January 1943. The memorial plaque unveiling ceremony was attended by the locals as well as invited guests who altogether paid tribute to the dead.
