In Mrozowa Wola Village, The Lasting Memory Foundation along with a County Administrator’s Office of Węgrów commemorated the place of execution of 9 Jews murdered by the Germans on the day of 26th of November, 1942. The ceremony of unveiling the memorial plaque was attended by school delegations from the town of Stoczek and Magdenburg, the mayor of Stoczek, as well as the representatives of Polish Society of War Veterans and The Polish Association of The Righteous Among Nations.

In Kępa, the Lasting Memory Foundation commemorated the site where four Jews — a mother and her children — were executed and buried in November 1942. The Foundation identified their names and inscribed them on a memorial plaque. Local residents, students from nearby schools, local government officials and invited guests attended the unveiling ceremony.

In the villages of Gorajec and Dragany, the Lasting Memory Foundation marked the burial sites of Jews murdered between 1942 and 1943 with Memory Stones. All of the victims had been hiding in these villages in an attempt to escape the Holocaust. Now, over 80 years later, local residents joined the Foundation in commemorating these tragic events.

In the town of Osieck, The Lasting Memory Foundation commemorated the place of execution and burial of 28 Jews murdered in 1943. The ceremony of unveiling the memorial plaque was attended by local residents, students of a local school, authorities and invited guests who all paid honors to the dead.
